The Outrun is a 2024 English-language drama film starring Saoirse Ronan as a woman who returns home to the Orkney Islands in Scotland. The film is directed by Nora Fingscheidt based on the 2016 memoir The Outrun by Amy Liptrot. Fingscheidt wrote the screenplay with Liptrot based on a story they wrote with Daisy Lewis.
