‘September 5’ Wins Top Honor at Bavarian Film Awards

The film competed against ‘The Outrun’ and ‘Treasure - Familie ist ein fremdes Land,’ which each received €50,000 awards.
The jury lauded the film for its ability to vividly transport viewers to the past and described it as a masterpiece.
It portrays the 1972 Munich Olympics attack through the perspective of ABC Sports, the first broadcaster to capture the event live.
The film is also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, recognizing the work of Fehlbaum, Moritz Binder, and Alex David.
