The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate), abbreviated as NEET is an entrance examination in India conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for determining eligibility of candidates for admission to postgraduate medical programmes in government or private medical colleges, such as Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery, PG diploma, Diplomate of National Board, Doctorate of National Board, and NBEMS diploma.
