Hangzhou is the capital city of the Chinese province of Zhejiang. It is located in northwestern Zhejiang, sitting at the head of Hangzhou Bay.
As of the 2020 Chinese census, it had a total population of 11,936,010 inhabitants. Hangzhou ranks ninth in terms of GDP in mainland China. Hangzhou hosts the headquarters of Alibaba Group, Ant Group, Geely and NetEase.
