Despite no charges being filed, local sheriff maintains belief that the teen was 'groomed' at a young age by the priest.

Suspended Alabama priest Alex Crow, 30, has married the 18-year-old girl he fled to Italy with over the summer, according to a marriage license filed in Mobile County, Alabama.
The girl, a recent graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, turned 18 in June, only a few months before their departure to Italy.
Crow was suspended and forbidden from acting, dressing, or presenting himself as a priest by Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi, who anticipates the Vatican will eventually laicize Crow.
The district attorney in Mobile County closed an investigation into criminal wrongdoing in the pair's relationship earlier this month, citing insufficient admissible evidence to charge a crime.
Despite no charges being filed, Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch maintains the belief that the teen was 'groomed' at a young age by Crow.
