The Aam Aadmi Party is a political party in India. It was founded on 26 November 2012 by Arvind Kejriwal and his then-companions, following the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement against then government of Indian National Congress.
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, a senior minister in the AAP-led Punjab government, was found to have been in charge of a department that did not exist, prompting opposition backlash and public scrutiny.
