Paramount Pictures to Adapt Stephen King’s 'The Stand' as Standalone Doug Liman Film

Paramount has enlisted Doug Liman with Cross Creek’s Tyler Thompson to direct and produce its first one-off adaptation of King’s 1,152-page epic, setting the project up for writers to tackle the sprawling screenplay.
