Maharashtra Rolls Out 24/7 Helpline and Watch Towers to Address Rising Wildlife and Human Fatalities

Officials disclosed first-quarter 2025 mortality figures for tigers, leopards, other wildlife and humans with activation of helpline 1926, informer squads, watch towers and Special Tiger Protection Force units under the 2023 compensation act.
