German Forests Show No Recovery as 80% of Trees Remain Sick, Oak Damage Rises

After the annual survey revealed that 51 percent of oaks now show significant crown damage with no clear improvement in overall forest health, Bundesagrarminister Alois Rainer announced fresh funding for reforestation, forest restructuring and research.
