Highway Construction Slows to 29 km/Day as Road Deaths Hit Six per Hour

Building 10,660 km of roads in FY2024-25, the government is deploying traffic management systems, targeted safety audits, black-spot remedies with the goal of addressing the 26,770 fatalities recorded by June 2025.
