Zouk Singapore Unveils Multi-Million-Dollar Overhaul With Phased Closures Ahead of June 2026 Relaunch

The makeover seeks to position Zouk as a more versatile lifestyle hub through concert-grade tech, modular layouts, expanded day-to-night programming.

Overview

  • Zouk Mainroom, Phuture, Capital and RedTail will be renovated, with Capital closing on Jan 17 and Phuture and the Mainroom shutting by end-March.
  • Construction is scheduled to finish by June 2026 to align with Zouk’s 35th anniversary, with the company forecasting about a 20% increase in traffic after reopening.
  • Technical upgrades span concert-grade sound across all rooms, 12-metre-wide LED walls, a redesigned entrance, a premium VIP sofa section, and a modular Mainroom with movable acoustic walls.
  • Design partner Josh Held Design and lighting studio Superlative will lead the creative refresh, supported by a renewed Clarke Quay lease that extends the venue’s run to 2031.
  • Programming will broaden beyond DJ nights to include live acts, fashion pop-ups, wellness sessions, business tourism events and creative networking, with RedTail adding daytime operations.
