Zotac Implements Discord Raffle System to Combat GPU Scalping

Zotac is using its Discord server to sell Nvidia RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs directly to engaged community members through a raffle system.
Participants must actively engage in discussions and challenges to qualify, with winners selected via a random number generator.
The initiative aims to address limited stock and scalping issues, where GPUs are resold at up to three times their MSRP.
Anti-scalping measures include tracking serial numbers and banning users who attempt to resell GPUs from future raffles.
While the RTX 5080 is available in limited quantities, the RTX 5090 is currently out of stock, and Nvidia has yet to confirm broader availability for its RTX 50-series GPUs.
