Zlatan Ibrahimovic Joins RedBird Capital as Senior Advisor to AC Milan

The former AC Milan striker will collaborate with RedBird's investment team and play an active role in AC Milan's sporting and business operations.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, former AC Milan striker, has joined RedBird Capital Partners as an Operating Partner and will serve as a Senior Advisor to AC Milan.
In his new role, Ibrahimovic will collaborate with RedBird's global investment team and support the firm's investment portfolio across sports, media and entertainment.
At AC Milan, Ibrahimovic will play an active role across the sporting and business operations, including player development and advancing Milan's global brand.
RedBird Capital, which bought AC Milan last year, manages about $10 billion in assets, primarily in the sports world.
Ibrahimovic, who retired in June, had a stellar 24-year career in soccer, playing for teams in seven different countries and scoring more than 550 goals.
