Overview
- The tenth and final ZEvent began on Friday, Sept. 4 and runs through Sept. 7 in Montpellier, featuring about 90 on-site streamers and more than 200 additional broadcasters online for a 50-hour charity marathon.
- An opening concert and early gifts lifted the pre-start pot to roughly €532,000, with artists Bigflo & Oli pledging €100,000 to spur donations before the stream began.
- Organisers announced the fundraiser passed €1 million on the evening of Sept. 4 and then crossed the €10–11 million mark by the night of Sept. 5 as sales from event merchandise were added to the total.
- Since 2022 all ZEvent donations are centralised through the Fondation de France for redistribution, and this edition supports 22 beneficiary associations including Ligue contre le cancer, Action contre la faim and Amnesty International.
- ZEvent leaves a complex legacy after raising more than €58 million over nine prior editions: organisers seek up to €20 million this year even as critics point to repeated concerns about insider networks, contested partner choices, and some high-profile absences.
