Zero Parades: Director’s Cut to Launch on Switch 2 and PS5 on November 3

About 40,000 words of new writing and a developer‑narrated Backstage Mode deepen the game’s story while platform-specific controls and audio and accessibility upgrades ready it for consoles.

Overview

  • ZA/UM confirmed the Director’s Cut will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 3, 2026, with the Switch 2 edition launching as a digital download.
  • Both console builds are tailored to their hardware, with Switch 2 support for JoyCon 2 mouse controls, touchscreen and HD Rumble 2 and a PS5 build using DualSense adaptive triggers, haptics, controller speaker, 3D audio and 4K output.
  • The Director’s Cut adds roughly 40,000 words of new writing, new outfits and scenes, and a new Dramatic Encounter called the Quisach Roundabout featuring Hershel and Ramses.
  • Backstage Mode lets players explore earlier level iterations, cut content and development stories narrated by art director Kaspar Tamsalu, and the release completes a revised English voice-over and broad quality-of-life and accessibility fixes.
  • The expanded edition is already available as a free upgrade for existing PC owners, and the console launch is likely to widen the game’s audience after its initial PC release this year and the studio’s high-profile profile from Disco Elysium.
