The unionization effort was supported by the Communication Workers of America (CWA) and follows a broader trend of union activity in the video game industry.
Microsoft, ZeniMax's parent company, officially recognized the union under its labor neutrality agreement with the CWA.
Union members are advocating for better job security, protections against AI displacement, improved pay, and enhanced workplace benefits.
This is the latest in a series of unionization efforts within Microsoft-owned studios, including unions formed by ZeniMax QA workers and Bethesda Game Studios employees earlier this year.
