Zelenskiy said he urged Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal to rapidly renew supervisory boards across the defence sector. He announced that the powers of most supervisory boards at state energy companies would be terminated today. New supervisory boards for energy firms must be formed by the end of this month under a clear, fair selection process. After meeting Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Zelenskiy called the pace of changes satisfactory and focused on full transparency in management. The government previously said a new supervisory board at Energoatom would be appointed by year-end as Ukraine confronts its biggest graft scandal since 2019.
