Overview
- ZDF will replace the Tuesday 3 November 19:25 slot with special live election programming anchored from Washington, D.C., led by Shakuntala Banerjee and Elmar Theveßen.
- The fifth episode of season 26 was moved from the 3 November TV slot to Tuesday 10 November while it has already been made available early on ZDF Mediathek.
- Longtime cast member Marisa Burger will make her final linear broadcast appearance as Miriam Stockl on Tuesday 24 November after nearly 25 years in the role.
- A report in FOCUS online says actor Alexander Duda will also leave the series but that departure has less corroboration across other outlets.
- The change shows how public broadcasters shift linear schedules for major international political events and leaves viewers able to watch delayed episodes on ZDF Mediathek.
