• Held at NeueHouse Hollywood on May 31, the Venus Ascension Ball marked Zaya’s 18th birthday and the first anniversary of her Translatable initiative.
• Translatable, co-founded with Dwyane Wade, serves as a safe digital space offering resources and community for LGBTQIA+ youth and families.
• Major sponsors—MAC Cosmetics, H&M, the Utah Jazz, and Folx Health—underwrote the event, and MAC donated $100,000 to the Trans Wellness Center in Zaya’s honor.
• The celebration featured a ballroom runway led by Zaya, themed looks inspired by Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, and $15,000 in cash prizes for participants.
• Now financially independent after relocating to California, Zaya will study astrobiology this fall as she continues her activism and modeling career.
