Overview
- Funds were channeled through Impulso MiPyMEs Jalisco (just over 3 million pesos), Jalisco Exporta Más (approximately 2.025 million pesos) and Impulso al Comercio (495,000 pesos).
- Beneficiaries will use grants for machinery purchases, clean energy installations, digital upgrades, export promotion and short-term working capital.
- Supported businesses span construction, agro-food, manufacturing, creative industries, commerce and consultancy services.
- Sixty-one percent of the recipient companies are led by men and thirty-nine percent by women.
- Mayor Juan José Frangie Saade said the supports come from citizens’ taxes and called for collaboration between governments and entrepreneurs to bolster the local economy.
