Zamboanga to Challenge Fairtex for ONE Atomweight MMA World Title at ONE 166

The highly anticipated fight marks ONE Championship’s debut event in Qatar, with five world title fights on the card.

Denice Zamboanga, the No.2-ranked contender in the women’s atomweight MMA division, is set to fight for the ONE atomweight MMA world title against close friend and former teammate, Stamp Fairtex.
Stamp Fairtex, the current title holder, became ONE Championship’s first-ever three-sport world champion when she knocked out South Korean superstar Ham Seo Hee at ONE Fight Night 14.
The fight is scheduled to take place at ONE 166: Qatar on March 1, marking ONE Championship’s debut event in Qatar.
Zamboanga is coming off two straight wins against China’s Lin Heqin and Brazil’s Julie Mezabarba, and hopes to make it three in a row.
ONE 166 will feature five world title fights, including the Zamboanga vs. Fairtex match.
