  • Anurag Basu’s spiritual sequel to Life in a…Metro extends its narrative across five cities—Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune—to reflect interconnected urban lives.
  • The first single, Zamaana Lage, composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, reimagines the ghazal with contemporary themes of love and loss.
  • Konkona Sen Sharma, the only returning cast member, became emotional at the launch while recalling late co-star Irrfan Khan, leading the team to pay tribute to both him and singer KK.
  • The Mumbai launch featured live performances by Pritam, Papon and Shashwat Singh, a surprise premiere of an unreleased track and confirmation of a 10–12-song soundtrack.
  • Aditya Roy Kapur makes his singing debut in the film by performing his character’s musical portions under Pritam’s composition.
