Netflix ramps up promotion with homepage takeover and teaser for sequel

Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire receives mixed early reactions, with some praising its epic world-building and others criticizing it for spending too much time setting up Part Two.
The film, which stars Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Cleopatra Coleman, Jena Malone, Fra Fee, Ed Skrein, and Anthony Hopkins, is set in a universe controlled by a corrupt government.
Netflix is promoting the film heavily, with a digital billboard taking over the platform's homepage worldwide from December 21 to 25, and a teaser trailer for Part Two: The Scargiver set to play at the end of the movie.
The film's release has been moved up to 7 p.m. PT on December 21, hours earlier than its scheduled December 22 debut.
Rebel Moon: Part Two - The Scargiver is set to hit Netflix on April 19, 2024.
