Zac Goldsmith Temporarily Banned from Driving for Speeding
The former environment minister and Conservative peer faces sentencing in mid-March for four speeding incidents in London.
- Zac Goldsmith, former environment minister and Conservative peer, has been temporarily banned from driving after being caught speeding four times in London last year.
- He was caught twice speeding on the same road, the A316 in Twickenham, and also exceeded speed limits on Chelsea Embankment and Bayswater Road.
- Goldsmith, who pleaded guilty to the four incidents, also faces three other driving-related offences, including one in Somerset.
- He is due to be sentenced in mid-March at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
- Goldsmith, who unsuccessfully ran for London Mayor in 2016, did not attend the hearing.
