'Teacup' is inspired by the bestselling novel 'Stinger' by Robert McCammon and follows a group of people in rural Georgia facing a mysterious threat.
James Wan and Atomic Monster are attached to executive produce the series, with Ian McCulloch serving as writer and executive producer.
Strahovski will also contribute as a producer on 'Teacup,' alongside her starring role as Maggie Chenoweth.
The series is currently in production, with Strahovski's involvement heralding a significant addition to her extensive acting portfolio.
