Yuva Sambhrama Opens Today in Mysuru With 25 College Troupes

Overview

• Social Welfare and District in‑Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the festival at 4 p.m. at the Open Air Auditorium, Manasagangothri.
• Kannada film actors Yuva Rajkumar and Amrutha Iyengar are special invitees, with officials stating no remuneration is being paid.
• Performances run daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. through September 18, featuring dance, music, drama and themed pieces by college teams from across Karnataka.
• Sound and lighting estimated at about Rs. 40 lakh have been sponsored by Mera and Samrudhi, with stage, parking, barricades and security arrangements in place.
• Opening night begins with Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, and the event’s promotional song by Vijay Prakash has been released and screened at DRC Cinemas.
