Yuengling Expands Distribution to Illinois Starting January 2025

The nation's oldest brewery will bring its iconic beers to Chicago and statewide, marking its 27th state of distribution.

Yuengling, established in 1829 and the oldest brewery in the U.S., will begin selling its beers in Illinois in late January 2025.
Illinois marks the brewery's 27th state of distribution, following its recent expansions into Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma in 2023.
The brewery will launch five beer varieties in Illinois, including its flagship Traditional Lager, Light Lager, Black & Tan, Golden Pilsner, and FLIGHT, a lighter beer option.
Beers for Illinois will be produced at Yuengling's Pennsylvania facilities and Molson Coors' plants in Milwaukee and Fort Worth, under a joint venture formed in 2020.
Yuengling's expansion comes as the U.S. beer market faces declining sales volumes, but the brewery continues to grow through strategic westward moves and loyal consumer demand.
