YouTuber Recreates GTA VI-Inspired Map in GTA V Despite Possible Takedown

Dark Space, a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, is developing a Vice City-inspired map using GTA V assets while acknowledging potential legal challenges from Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive.

YouTuber Dark Space is recreating a map inspired by GTA VI's leaked Vice City setting entirely within GTA V, using only assets from the latter game.
The project includes the nearly completed Vice Beach area, with plans to add the Venetian Islands next, and is expected to be finished by mid-February 2025.
Dark Space asserts that the project is fan-made and does not involve remastering or porting assets from other GTA titles, which have led to takedowns in the past.
Take-Two Interactive, known for taking action against fan projects, has not yet commented on whether it will allow the map to remain available upon completion.
GTA VI is officially slated for release in late 2025, but fans remain eager for updates following the game's 2023 announcement trailer.
