Young Mazino, breakout star of Netflix's 'Beef', has been cast as Jesse in the upcoming Season 2 of HBO's 'The Last of Us'.
Mazino prepared for the role by playing 'The Last of Us: Part II' and watching cutscenes from the first game on YouTube.
Season 2 of 'The Last of Us' is set to begin production in February 2024 and is projected to debut in 2025.
Other new cast members for Season 2 include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby and Isabela Merced as Dina.
The second season will follow the events of 'The Last of Us: Part II' video game, introducing new character dynamics and storylines.
