  • The collision occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at via Lombardore and via Coppi in Leini as Pogliano crossed on a marked crosswalk after midnight mass.
  • The grey Fiat Grande Punto, reported to be owned by the driver’s mother, was found abandoned on the town’s outskirts and has been seized by investigators.
