Caicedo was evaluated by medical staff and found to be stressed and fatigued.
She later returned to training and scored in a match against South Korea.
Caicedo previously underwent surgery and chemotherapy for ovarian cancer.
Colombia's coach confirmed Caicedo is healthy and will play in their next World Cup match.
