  • Yamamoto threw six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts in an 8-0 win over the Diamondbacks that secured the division.
  • He finished the regular season at 12-8 with a 2.49 ERA, 201 strikeouts and 173.2 innings, including a 0.99 WHIP, a .183 opponent average and only 20 extra-base hits allowed.
  • Per OptaSTATS, he is the second pitcher since 1913 to pair 200+ strikeouts with sub-2.50 ERA, sub-.200 opponent average, sub-1.00 WHIP and fewer than 35 extra-base hits, joining Bob Gibson’s 1968 season.
  • He became the first Dodgers pitcher since Walker Buehler in 2021 to reach 200 strikeouts as Los Angeles claimed its 12th NL West title in 13 years.
