Yorgos Lanthimos' 'Poor Things' wins Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival

The black comedy "Poor Things" directed by Yorgos Lanthimos won the top prize at the Venice Film Festival.
The film stars Emma Stone as a sex-crazed reanimated corpse and also features Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo.
Matteo Garrone won best director for "Io Capitano" and Seydou Sarr won best young actor.
Peter Sarsgaard and Cailee Spaeny took the top acting prizes for their roles in "Memory" and "Priscilla."
The festival highlighted films examining Europe's migration policies but had limited Hollywood presence due to an actors' strike.
