Yogi Adityanath Reviews Varanasi Station Ahead of Modi's Nov. 7–8 Visit, Vande Bharat Launch

The chief minister ordered tighter cleanliness, traffic control, security at the station to keep the PM’s programme running smoothly.

  • He directed special focus on cleanliness, traffic management and security and told officials to ensure error‑free arrangements during the visit.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Varanasi on Nov. 7 and on Nov. 8 to inaugurate the Varanasi–Khajuraho Vande Bharat and virtually flag off three other trains, with plans to interact with students, meet the loco pilot and address roughly 4,000 people at the station.
  • Security preparations include inspections of gates, parking zones, VVIP entry points, screening systems, metal detectors and dog squads, with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and senior rail officials expected in the city on Nov. 7.
