Yogi Adityanath Pledges UP-Style Crackdown in Bihar, Targets RJD’s Osama Shahab

A Siwan rally sharpened the NDA’s law-and-order pitch ahead of next week’s Bihar vote.

Overview

  • The Uttar Pradesh chief minister told crowds that mafias were crushed with bulldozers in his state and vowed similar action in Bihar if the NDA forms the government.
  • He cited eight and a half years without riots in UP and warned that properties of those who incite violence would be seized and used for public benefit.
  • Calling out a “hereditary” mafia in Raghunathpur, he directly attacked RJD candidate Osama Shahab while stumping in Siwan for BJP leader Mangal Pandey.
  • He contrasted NDA rule with the RJD–Congress record, accusing them of looting welfare funds and presiding over crime, while invoking cultural projects including the Ram temple and a Sitamarhi temple corridor.
  • With polling on November 6 and 11 and counting on November 14, the NDA also released a manifesto promising one crore jobs, metro networks in four cities, seven international airports, new expressways, and expanded welfare schemes.
