Kevin Costner will not appear in the remaining episodes due to scheduling conflicts and a reported dispute with creator Taylor Sheridan.
The storyline will continue to focus on the Dutton family's internal conflicts, particularly the escalating feud between siblings Beth and Jamie.
The show's absence was partly due to the Hollywood strikes and Costner's commitment to his own project, Horizon: An American Saga.
Despite the main series ending, the Yellowstone franchise continues to expand with multiple spin-offs and prequels in development.
