'Yellowstone' Creator Sues Star Actor Over Coffee Company Logo

Taylor Sheridan alleges that Cole Hauser's Free Rein Coffee Company's logo is too similar to his own Bosque Ranch Craft Coffee's logo, potentially misleading consumers.

Taylor Sheridan, the creator of the TV show 'Yellowstone', has filed a lawsuit against actor Cole Hauser, who stars in the show, over alleged trademark infringement related to their respective coffee companies.
Sheridan's company, Bosque Ranch Craft Coffee, uses a logo with overlapping B and R letters, while Hauser's company, Free Rein Coffee Company, uses a logo with overlapping F and R letters.
Sheridan alleges that Free Rein's logo is too similar to Bosque Ranch's logo and could potentially mislead consumers.
The lawsuit was filed in the Northern District of Texas on Nov. 21, and Sheridan's company is seeking a jury trial, asking the court to force Free Rein to stop using its logo and to destroy any of its products that currently use it.
Hauser promoted his coffee brand on social media just one day after the lawsuit was filed.
