Overview

  • Hoy No Circula restrictions apply Monday from 05:00 to 22:00 for vehicles with yellow stickers, plate endings 5 and 6, and hologram 1 or 2 across all 16 CDMX alcaldías and participating Edomex municipalities.
  • Exemptions include vehicles with holograms 0 or 00, electric and hybrid cars, authorized public-service, emergency and disability vehicles, and certain taxis and motorcycles.
  • Mexico City authorities levy fines ranging from 20 to 200 UMAs (about 2,263–22,628 MXN) and may tow violations, while Estado de México’s municipalities defer penalties until January 1, 2026.
  • The daily color, plate digit and hologram rotation was harmonized by CAMe on July 1 to unify restrictions across the Valley of Mexico and Valle de Toluca airsheds.
  • Air-quality monitoring by CAMe and SAM has not triggered a 'Doble Hoy No Circula' escalation, so no additional bans are in effect today.
