Overview
- Yeida will open its affordable housing scheme on June 18 with at least 3,000 plots of 30 sqm priced at ₹7.5 lakh each in Sectors 18 and 20.
- Applicants must pay a 10% advance deposit to enter a lottery for EWS plots and can spread the balance over seven years.
- The scheme reserves 29% of plots for Yeida-project workers, 5% for retired defence personnel and 5% for Yeida staff with a target to allocate at least 8,000 plots overall.
- A separate online bidding process for educational and healthcare sites opens June 19 and closes July 17 covering three nursery schools, three creches, four hospitals plus a child welfare centre.
- Allotment rates are set at ₹18,030 per sqm for schools and creches and ₹27,330 per sqm for hospitals with premiums ranging from ₹1.8 crore to ₹29 crore.
