  • Euskaltzaindia, the University of the Basque Country and Gabriel Aresti Kultura Elkartea joined local authorities to unveil a program of ten events from June through December
  • The opening event on June 6 will feature a concert by Bilbao’s Banda de Txistularis at Euskaltzaindia followed by academic symposia on June 19–20 under the Cátedra Gabriel Aresti
  • On June 26 the UPV/EHU will present Gabriel Arestik ereindakoak, a book of academic essays, literary texts and visual artworks examining Aresti’s legacy
