Overview
- The latest episode closed on a cliffhanger after Maya Jama and James Acaster repeatedly yawned near Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall during a staged task, while recruit King Kenny left the room.
- The task requires Traitors to spray a perfume and prompt a Faithful to yawn by asking if they are 'boring' them, a mechanic designed to tip the balance of suspicion on camera.
- Former winners and past Traitors have warned the yawning twist could seed doubt about tiredness and secrecy and make Jama more likely to be singled out at banishment votes.
- Jama is the only original Traitor still in the game after earlier on‑air slips and banishments of Richard E. Grant and Hannah Fry, and commentators say that status makes her both vulnerable and influential.
- Producers are watching audience reaction closely and have tightened controls on leaks and contestant welfare as the format changes and betting interest fuel bigger public scrutiny.
