Yankees pitcher Nestor Cortes out until August with rotator cuff inflammation; Carlos Rodón activated

Nestor Cortes transferred to the 60-day injured list and won't return to the New York Yankees until at least August.
Cortes last pitched on May 30 and has a 5-2 record with a 5.16 ERA in 11 starts this season.
Carlos Rodón, another left-handed pitcher, was activated from the 60-day injured list and made his Yankees debut
Jake Bauers was placed on the 10-day injured list with a bruised left rotator cuff, and Franchy Cordero was recalled from Triple-A to take his place.
Cortes is expected to throw to hitters on July 11 and then at the Yankees' complex on July 13.
