- Yamaha’s XSR155 goes on sale at an introductory Rs 1,49,990 ex-showroom (Delhi), expanding the brand’s modern-retro lineup in India.
- The bike uses a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with VVA making about 18.4 bhp and 14.2 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch.
- Hardware includes the Deltabox frame, USD forks, rear monoshock and an aluminium swingarm, with dual disc brakes, dual-channel ABS and traction control; kerb weight is listed at 137 kg with a 10-litre tank.
- Four colours are offered—Metallic Grey, Greyish Green Metallic, Metallic Blue and Vivid Red—plus a round LCD cluster that supports call, text and email alerts via Yamaha’s Y-Connect app.
