Overview
- The bike uses the R15-derived 155cc liquid-cooled VVA engine producing 18.5 PS and 14.2 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch.
- Underpinnings include the R15 V4 DeltaBox frame, USD front forks, rear monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear discs, and dual-channel ABS with traction control reported as standard.
- Design follows Yamaha’s XSR theme with a round LED headlamp, teardrop tank, flat single-piece seat, and a circular digital LCD instrument cluster.
- Four colour options are offered: Metallic Grey, Greyish Green Metallic, Metallic Blue, and Vivid Red.
- Positioned below the R15 V4, the XSR155 targets rivals such as the TVS Ronin and Bajaj Pulsar N160, and Yamaha says the FZ-X remains on sale.
