Overview

  • The FZ-X Hybrid is available in India at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the non-hybrid model remains priced at Rs 1.29 lakh under a tiered strategy.
  • Its hybrid system integrates Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator and Stop & Start System for smoother acceleration, quieter restarts and automatic engine shut-off at idle.
  • A 4.2-inch full-colour TFT cluster links via the Y-Connect app to provide turn-by-turn Google Maps navigation with intersection prompts and road-name displays.
  • The bike retains its neo-retro styling and continues to use a 149 cc fuel-injected engine delivering 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm of torque mated to a five-speed gearbox.
  • Standard safety features include single-channel ABS, traction control and a suspension setup of telescopic front forks with a monoshock rear for improved ride dynamics.
