Yakuza Kiwami Arrives on Nintendo Switch This October

The high-definition remake of the original Yakuza game marks the series' return to Nintendo consoles after more than a decade.

Yakuza Kiwami, a remake of the first Yakuza game, launches on Nintendo Switch on October 24.
Announced during the August 2024 Nintendo Direct, the game allows players to revisit Kazuma Kiryu's story of redemption.
The Switch version includes updated gameplay mechanics and additional story elements, enhancing the original experience.
Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku had previously expressed concerns about the series' fit for the Switch platform.
This release marks the first Yakuza game on a Nintendo console since the Wii U ports in 2013.
