Yahya Abdul-Mateen II to Star in Netflix's 'Man on Fire' Series

The actor will take on the iconic role of John Creasy, previously portrayed by Denzel Washington and Scott Glenn, in the new adaptation directed by Steven Caple Jr.

The series is based on A. J. Quinnell's novels 'Man on Fire' and 'The Perfect Kill'.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will also serve as an executive producer for the series.
The story follows John Creasy, a former Special Forces soldier battling PTSD and seeking redemption.
Kyle Killen is the showrunner and writer, with Steven Caple Jr. directing the first two episodes.
The Netflix series will consist of eight episodes, with no release date announced yet.
