- PermissionDelegationV1_1 entered a 14-day activation countdown on September 21 after 29 of 35 trusted validators voted yes and could go live as early as October 5 if support stays above 80% for the full window.
- BatchV1_1 has roughly 30 of 35 validator backers and is positioned to begin a conditional activation as early as September 29, subject to the same 80% for 14 days rule.
- Both features are rebuilt fixes for earlier, pre-mainnet security faults: Permission Delegation previously risked charging victims fees before signature checks and Batch had a signer/authorization bug that could let malformed batches pass validation.
- Activation will require immediate upgrades to servers, signing libraries, wallets and indexers because outdated clients can be amendment-blocked or produce signatures rejected by nodes, with xrpld 3.3.0 and xrpl.js 5.1.0 cited as the corrected releases.
- Neither amendment changes XRP supply directly so any market or usage impact depends on whether named institutions actually route real transaction volume through the ledger and whether wallets and custodians adopt the new primitives.
