Xpeng Unveils Modular Flying Car Prototype at CES 2025

Xpeng Aero HT showcased its Land Aircraft Carrier at CES 2025, a hybrid vehicle featuring a six-wheeled electric van and a two-seater eVTOL aircraft stored in the rear.
The eVTOL, designed for recreational use, can be flown manually with a joystick or autonomously, and requires a Light Sport Aircraft license to operate.
Xpeng plans to begin mass production of the vehicle in China later this year, with deliveries expected in 2026 and a price point of approximately $300,000.
The Land Aircraft Carrier supports up to six flights per charge, with the van acting as a mobile charging station for the eVTOL during travel.
Over 3,000 pre-orders have been placed in China, with potential applications ranging from thrill-seeking consumers to emergency response services.
