Overview
- Xpeng revealed the G9L at the Paris Auto Show and has opened order books in Germany with first customer deliveries set to begin in December 2026.
- The G9L is a 5.12 metre three-row SUV offered as a six- or seven-seater and priced from about €74,600 for the German market.
- Xpeng says the car uses an 800-volt electrical architecture with a gross battery above 100 kWh and a WLTP range claim up to 591 km for the RWD long-range version, figures provided by the manufacturer.
- The company cites very fast DC charging of roughly 540–550 kW that it says can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in under 12 minutes, a capability that few European chargers currently support.
- European-market G9L units will be assembled at Magna Steyr’s Graz plant using the same local production route Xpeng used for earlier models, a move that aims to speed deliveries and adapt the car to regional needs.
